Kizmet sighed, gazing at Alexy who was prancing around in front of them with shopping bags clenched tightly in his hands as if the entire shopping mall was a wonderland. She twirled a ash coloured curl around her slim finger absently, feeling slightly nervous. There was a huff next to her and she turned her head to gaze at the source of her nerves. As usual, his messy black hair and cerulean eyes made her heart stutter.
He was looking at Alexy with an irritated look plastered over his face, his lips pressed tightly together. He gazed at the blue haired boy for a moment before his expression smoothed out and he turned his head towards Kizmet too. Their eyes connected and they stared at each other for a moment, seemingly unable to look away. She broke the gaze, hurriedly turning her head away as a light blush swept over her cheeks. She could feel his stare still boring into the side of her head for a moment before he too, looked away. It was a relief. Before she could continue that train of thought, Alexy spoke:
“Ooh! A sale!” He gasped, standing on his tip toes to stare over at a faraway shop, the ‘sale’ and ‘45% off’ signs quite obvious “They have such cute jeans too.” His excitement was obvious as he whipped around to look at Armin.
“Hey, Armin! Those jeans would suit yo-” The bluenette didn’t get to finish his sentence when he was interrupted by Armin.
“No.” He spoke shortly, his annoyance obvious “I can’t believe you dragged me here. I don’t want to stand in a queue with you for hours while you buy clothes. I could be playing my new game instead.” Armin grimaced.
“Ah, c'mon, Armin!” Alexy whined, a pout adoring his lips. Kizmet watched their interaction with interest, wondering why she had been asked to come along. She felt a little sorry for Armin who had to suffer with Alexy’s addiction to shopping.
“Doesn’t he have enough jeans? I mean, he even has a bright yellow pair.” She interjected, attempting to help Armin out. He sent her a grateful look from the corner of his eye, making her lips twitch into a smile despite herself. She opened her mouth to continue to speak when she heard a crash behind her, making her and Armin turn around in surprise. Someone had just dropped one of their heavy bags she noted, turning back around to look at Alexy only to find he had vanished.
“Wha-Where’d he go?” She exclaimed, glancing around as if he would suddenly pop out from behind someone else. She looked to Armin for an answer to see him looking startled and a little nervous. She blinked and the expression on his face vanished as soon as she saw it. He rolled his eyes.
